Welcome to the warm world of Buttermilk Basin, the brand created by American designer Stacy West. From her studio in Minnesota, she designs patterns full of vintage charm and folk art spirit, where felted wool meets cotton, hand embroidery and antique buttons to create pieces full of character.

Her wool appliqué designs follow the changing seasons: pumpkins and crows for autumn, stars and snowmen for winter, flowers and birds for spring. Each motif, simple and generous, comes together piece by piece to form little textile pictures to frame, hang, or add to a quilt.
