14-count Aida fabric is perfect for those starting out in cross stitch. It is also ideal if you have visual difficulties. Unlike linen and evenweave fabric, every hole is stitched: 1 square = 1 cross. You will stitch it with 2 strands of cotton thread, giving 5.5 crosses per cm.
