This 14-thread fabric is perfect if you like fine fabrics. You can stitch it with 1 strand of cotton over 2 threads of fabric. You can also stitch with 2 strands of cotton over 2 threads of fabric, it all depends on the look you prefer, but with a single strand of cotton the embroidery will be lighter.
If you would like to stitch a miniature, then stitch with a single strand of cotton over 1 thread of fabric.

  • Stitching over 2 threads gives you 7 crosses per cm
  • Stitching over 1 thread gives you 14 crosses per cm
